What is this survey?
This is SRJC's longest-running longitudinal survey, that aims to understand the experiences and challenges students have while attending SRJC. The survey started in 2001, and has been conducted every three years since then. Through this data, we have seen shifts in the demographics of our student body over time. The survey includes questions on student experiences, student demographics, student challenges, and their assessment on SRJC's Institutional Learning Objectives.
The information we collect on students through this survey goes to inform:
- Grants to which the college applies that fund both new and existing programs that support students from all walks of life
- Planning that determines how students are served
- Most importantly, SRJC's Accreditation as a California Community College
